51 jurisdictions, each with its own primary sources and the date it was last checked. Home-rule states show "no statewide edition" rather than a guess — in those, the city or county is the authority, and each state page lists the major jurisdictions that amend. Every state page states which NEC articles govern solar, storage and EV and which adopted edition carries them; 8 of 51 go further with researched state programmes, and the rest say plainly that they do not yet. Always confirm the adopting ordinance with the AHJ before issuing for permit.
